ARIANA Grande is now Mrs. Gomez.

American tabloid TMZ had first broken the news through sources that Grande married her fiancé in the suburb of Montecito, in a ceremony attended by no more than 20 people from both families. The sources also told TMZ that “the whole thing was very intimate and filled with a lot of love”.

According to TMZ, Grande and Gomez’s ceremony was anything but formal, with the couple saying their vows in their own, unplanned, manner.

“It was really just for them,” sources told. “It’s unclear how long they planned to do it this way — in other words, whether it was impulsive or not.”

Grande got engaged to Gomez before Christmas in 2020, after spending a lot of time together during the lockdown that occurred in the US due to covid-19. The two had begun dating early in 2020.

Prior to Vogue releasing the pictures, some fans had posted old images of Grande when she appeared on Nickelodeon show ‘iCarly’ as a guest character wearing a wedding dress and veil, in an attempt to imagine their favourite singer walking down the aisle, “holding hands with my mama” as sang in her hit single ‘Thank U, Next’.

One of those fans, Joseph tweeted: “Leaked photos of Ariana Grande the other night at her wedding”

Even UK fast-fashion brand Pretty Little Thing couldn’t stay away from the fun, writing: “EXCLUSIVE FIRST LOOK”

Grande’s marriage to Gomez comes less than three years after she was engaged to American comedian Pete Davidson, who dated very shortly before announcing their engagement to the public in 2018.

Grande and Davidson’s plans to marry were disrupted by the sudden death of Grande’s ex-boyfriend, rapper Mac Miller who died in 2018. The couple ultimately called the engagement off months later.
