Will Smith denies giving August Alsina blessing for affair with his wife

WILL Smith has reportedly shot down singer August Alsina’s astounding claim that he gave him his blessing to have a long-term affair with his wife Jada Pinkett Smith.
The Sun in the UK today reported that Will’s representatives called the claims “wrong”, while a spokesperson for Jada vehemently denied them to celebrity website Page Six, branding them “absolutely not true”.

During the astounding revelation to radio host Angela Yee, the 27-year-old singer said he was in love with the actress, 48, and had been involved with her for years. A representative for Jada said the claims were “absolutely not true”.
It is believed they were introduced by her son Jaden in 2015. August said he became very close to the family and had even holidayed with them a year later. He also attended the BET Awards with the clan in 2017.
August further claimed: “I actually sat down with Will [Smith] and had a conversation due to the transformation from their marriage to life partnership … he gave me his blessing.”

Discussing their relationship in detail, the New Orleans hitmaker added: “I totally gave myself to that relationship for years of my life, and I truly and really, really deeply love and have a ton of love for her.
“I devoted myself to it, I gave my full self to it – so much so to the point that I can die right now and be okay with knowing that I truly gave myself to somebody.”

He continued: “And I really loved a person, I experienced that and I know what that feels like – and some people never get that in this lifetime.
“I know that I am completely blessed and this conversation is difficult because it is so much, that it would be hard for people to understand but – once it starts to affect me and my livelihood – I have to speak up about my truth.”
The Smiths have long been dogged by rumours of trouble in their marriage.

Jada previously revealed, during an episode of Red Tables Talk, that there have been betrayals of the heart between the couple but that she chose to stay.

She told a therapist: “I’m asked a lot about, ‘Is there infidelity in your relationship with Will?’
“And it’s like, ‘No, but there’ve been other betrayals of the heart that have been far bigger than I could even think in regards to an infidelity situation.'”

Jada has previously denied rumours that she and Will are in an open relationship and said they will never divorce.
Talking on Sway’s Universe radio show in 2018. she said: ‘I’m just, like, keep [the divorce rumours] coming. Here’s the thing about Will and I – [we] are family. That is never going down. It’s just not. Ever.

“We are family. Take out all that whole marriage/relationship crap, at the end of the day, Will and I are family. I am going to hold him down, doesn’t matter.
“All that relationship and what-people-think ideas of a husband, partner and all that, man, whatever. At the end of the day, that is a man that can rely on me for the rest of his life, period.’

Jada also denied their marriage was open, saying in a Facebook post: ‘The statement I made in regard to, “Will can do whatever he wants,” has illuminated the need to discuss the relationship between trust and love and how they co-exist…
“Will and I BOTH can do WHATEVER we want because we TRUST each other to do so. This does NOT mean we have an open relationship…this means we have a GROWN one. [sic].

August was adamant that he was not speaking out to cause trouble.
He said: ‘Contrary to what people may believe, I am not a troublemaker. I don’t like drama. Drama actually makes me nauseous.
“And I also don’t think that it is ever important for people to know what I do, who I sleep with, who I date … but in this instance it is very different because as I said, there are so many people that are side-eyeing me, looking at me questionably.”
