SOUTH African President Cyril Ramaphosa welcomed an agreement for a four-day truce in Gaza and said he hoped the deal between Israel and Palestinian group Hamas would bolster efforts to achieve an outright end to their conflict. SIX more countries have shown interest in ratifying the Tripartite free trade area agreement, or TFTA - a COMESA-EAC-SADC initiative that seeks to foster free trade among countries in the three economic blocs. Egypt and Greece sign agreement on exclusive economic zone

MAHMOUD MOURAD EGYPT and Greece have signed an agreement designating an exclusive economic zone in the eastern Mediterranean between the two countries, an area containing promising oil and gas reserves, Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry said.
