Ghislaine Maxwell’s lawyer seeks to undermine accuser’s account of abuse
LUC COHEN A lawyer for Ghislaine Maxwell on Wednesday sought to cast doubt on the account of a woman who said the British socialite set her up for sexual abuse by Jeffrey Epstein starting when she was 14 and took part in some encounters. The woman, known by the pseudonym Jane, first took the stand for the government on Tuesday at Maxwell's sex abuse trial in Manhattan federal court.
