ROMANIAN prosecutors said they are investigating online personality Tristan Tate on an additional charge of inciting others to violence in a case in which he and his more famous brother Andrew are accused of sexually exploiting women. The Tate brothers and two Romanian female suspects are under house arrest pending a criminal investigation for suspected human trafficking, rape and forming a criminal gang to sexually exploit women, accusations they have denied. Ex-DRC PM’s immunity lifted, faces graft allegations

DEMOCRATIC Republic of Congo's former prime minister Matata Ponyo Mapon's parliamentary immunity has been lifted, as the Senate leadership announced it had authorised a criminal investigation into allegations he misappropriated $140 million. Congo's public prosecutor last month accused Matata of ordering payments to people without valid claims to government compensation under a law meant to reimburse foreign businesspeople who had their properties seized in the 1970s.
