EGYPT unearthed human and animal mummification workshops as well as two tombs in the ancient burial ground of Saqqara, officials said, marking the latest in a string of discoveries that the country hopes can help revive its vital tourism industry. Scientists reveal hidden corridor in Great Pyramid of Giza

AIDAN LEWIS A hidden corridor nine metres (30 feet) long has been discovered close to the main entrance of the 4,500-year-old Great Pyramid of Giza, and this could lead to further findings, Egyptian antiquities officials said on Thursday.
