Sydney knife attacker had mental health issues, ideology not motive, police say

THE man who fatally stabbed six people in Sydney had mental health issues in the past and there is no indication ideology was a motive in the attack in one of the city's busiest shopping centres, police said. AN attacker who fatally knifed six people in a Sydney mall was shot dead by police in the beachside suburb of Bondi, police said, as hundreds fled the scene. A Sydney martial arts instructor has been arrested for the alleged triple murder of a South Korean family living in the city after a child and woman were found dead in a Taekwondo centre, Australian police said.
