AFRICAN MIRROR REPORTER THREE former municipal bosses, who took ratepayers millions and invested them in the now-defunct VBS Bank have appeared in court after they were arrested by The Hawks, South Africa’s elite crime-fighting unit. AFRICAN MIRROR REPORTER FOUR former senior Gauteng Health Department officials have been arrested in connection with fraud, corruption and money laundering in connection with an irregular R1,2-billion information technology tender.
