Justice Thomas’ billionaire friend rejects Senate panel over gift list
JACQUELINE THOMSEN TEXAS billionaire Harlan Crow has rejected a Senate committee's request to detail gifts he or his companies have made to U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, according to a letter seen by Reuters. "We do not believe the committee has the authority to investigate Mr Crow's personal friendship with Justice Clarence Thomas," read the letter from Crow's lawyers.
