On the same weekend he also walked away with the Founder’s Recognition award at the 2020 South African Traditional Music Awards, for his and Zikode’s gospel-house hit ‘Jerusalema’.

Master KG soared to success in 2020 when his single went viral on social media with the #Jerusalemadancechallenge across parts of Africa, Asia and Europe.

The single got certified 2x platinum in Italy, and currently has over 200 million views on YouTube.

‘Jerusalema’ is one of Billboard’s top 200 songs of 2020 after BTS, The Weeknd, and Megan Thee Stallion.
