Dua Lipa, the new face of Puma present the Mayze sneaker

AFRICAN MIRROR REPORTER

POP singer Dua Lipa is rocking a new pair of Pumas.

Puma released their first campaign for their Mayze sneaker, featuring Dua Lipa as the bold, trendy face of the sneaker.

Wearing black and white track jacket over a multi-coloured bralette and fishnets, Dua Lipa is photographed by Mario Sorrenti in the newly-released sneakers – a pair designed in the classic silhouette of Pumas’ casual sneaker range.

The Mayze is designed with a stacked sole (higher than normal) with a leather upper that highlights Puma’s instantly recognisable design.

“The Mayze is the perfect fit, it works for me on stage and off. The classic stacked sole is so versatile, I can work it into any look,” said Dua Lipa.

The pop singer’s relationship with Puma originally began in 2020, when the sports brand announced that they had signed her for future campaigns as one of the faces of the brand.

Dua Lipa joins the likes of Olympian Usain Bolt, model and actress Cara Delevigne and Formula 1’s Lewis Hamilton as various faces of Puma.

The Mayze is part of PUMA’s growing platform She Moves Us. This is a platform used to highlight some of Puma’s top female brand ambassadors – celebrating them for their professional impact through culture and sport.

Other ambassadors include Canadian model Winnie Harlow, WNBA star Skylar Diggins-Smith, and English Féminine Olympique Lyonnais forward Nikita Parris.
