AFRICAN MIRROR REPORTER KENYA and Uganda have delivered more medals for Africa - two gold, a silver and a bronze - at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan.  Kenya won the gold and silver in the 800m when Emmanuel Korir won the men's final in 1:45.06, ahead of teammate Ferguson Rotich, the race favourite, who came in second at 1:45.23. Ghana player tests positive for COVID-19

A player on Ghana's Under-24 team has tested positive for the novel coronavirus after arriving in Japan for a friendly match, the Japan Football Association (JFA) has announced. The player had been isolated from the rest of the squad and staff, who are themselves isolated at a designated facility, the JFA said in a statement.
