AL-AHLY defeated Urawa Red Diamonds 4-2 in an entertaining Club World Cup third-place playoff to secure a top three finish in the tournament for the fourth time, despite losing a two-goal lead and missing a penalty. AFRICAN Champions Al-Ahly secured a record-extending 43rd Egyptian League title, without playing, as their closest rivals Pyramids were beaten 2-1 by Ceramica Cleopatra. AFRICAN MIRROR REPORTER EGYPTIAN giants Al-Ahly’s multi-trophy winning coach Pitso Mosimane has tested positive for COVID-19 and has gone into self-isolation. Mosimane, the former coach of South Africa Mamelodi Sundowns, won the elusive treble with Al-Ahly.
