POWER returned to Guinea-Bissau's capital after the West African country's government resumed payments to Turkish company Karpowership, which had plunged the city into darkness due to an unpaid debt of $17 million. ZIMBABWE has cut electricity supplies to several parts of the country after its biggest coal-fired generating station suffered a technical fault, losing 368 megawatts, the state power utility said.
