CARDI B is back with a new single titled ‘Up’ and the recently premiered music video visuals are to die for.
The New York rapper teased fans with the cover art for her new single during the week, her most recent since the release of her chart-topping 2020 single ‘WAP’ which featured rapper Megan Thee Stallion, and was certified Gold by RIAA seven days after its release.
The video for Cardi’s new single ‘Up’ shows that budget was not an issue with her singer delivering her catchy bars in gorgeous attires like her black crystal-adorned corset fitted with elbow-length gloves and hat seen in the first part of the two minute, fifty seconds video.
The rapper has always been praised for her creativity in her videos, as well as the avant-garde fashion looks for each scene, including popular looks from her ‘WAP’, ‘Press’ and ‘I Like It’ singles.
In late 2019, she had tweeted that she had more music coming for her fans, and that they would not have to only listen to WAP as they waited for her next LP.
Fans hit Twitter’s timeline as soon as the visuals dropped, cheering at the rapper’s love for OTT looks in her videos and expressing their joy over her new music. The rapper didn’t wait too long to give fans more music after the hype of ‘WAP’.
Cardi B released her debut album Invasion of Privacy in 2017, which received massive acclaim from critics and fans, as well as sweeping awards from the Grammys, Billboard Music Awards and BET Awards.
